His decision to leave a certain professional future in the Public Electricity Company of Greece played a determining role to his successful career in shipping and especially in the sector of marine automation. Stavros Kassidiaris, Chairman of C&A STAVROS KASSIDIARIS S.A., was very lucky and ready to cooperate with valuable and respectful colleagues and partners in the sector of shipping.

It was nothing but about time to win the trust and the recognition of the maritime community. In 1978 he set up the company C&A STAVROS KASSIDIARIS Ltd., which in 1992 got bigger by changing to S.A. He was the first to launch in the Greek shipping market the official representations of major international groups in the marine automation and instrumentation field. His success story includes partnerships with all Greek shipping companies, major companies in shipping industry abroad, shipyards, refineries, food, and chemical industries, among others.

His company was awarded with large scale projects from the Greek Navy and the public sector and managed to expand his company’s spectrum of products by acquiring the well – known companies MANTANCO S.A. and the Italian SAMI s.r.l. In 2009 he set up SELECTRON S.A. which was involved in the design and construction of pressure transmitters for the first time in Greece.

In 2018 C&A STAVROS KASSIDIARIS S.A. signed another excellent exclusive agency agreement with the S. Korean giant HUYNDAI ELECTRIC & ENERGY SYSTEM Co., Ltd in Greece, and Cyprus. Last but not least, C&A STAVROS KASSIDIARIS S.A. became an official distributor of the Chinese cables’ constructor, JIANGSU HONEST CABLE Co., Ltd and after that, in 2020, was certified by the Greek Ministry of Defence as a reliable manufacturer of military and industrial equipment.

Stavros Kassidiaris is a brave and consistent man, and a great supporter of social activities mainly in the fields of securing a safe working environment, recycling of waste materials and electronic devices, providing continuous training, insurance and medical support to the company’s personnel and numerous charities to the people in need such as schools and sport teams.
